I hate the off-season. At least I have some Red Sox books to get me through it.

I can't believe there are only 2 games left of the Red Sox season. I've come to really hate the off-season. Winter used to be my favorite season; now it's spring and fall. The Hunt for Red October is officially over; aka, the Red Sox will not be going to the postseason this year. I'm disappointed, but not exactly surprised. There's always next year.

Wow, I'm glad I got to see that. David Ortiz just hit his 51st homerun, breaking the Red Sox record for most home runs in a season, which had previously been held by Jimmie Foxx at 50 in 1938.
